Spotlight on Neemfresh Herbal Mouthwash

Neemfresh is the first product developed by my company, and to date is our most popular product. This post is designed to increase readers’ understanding of our Neemfresh, and the benefits that can accrue to them from using it.

Key ingredients of Neemfresh

The main ingredients of Neemfresh Herbal Mouthwash are extracts of Neem leaves and clove buds.  It is the combination of these ingredients that accounts for the effects of Neemfresh in gum inflammation and dental plaque.

Scientific studies on Neem leaves and Cloves

Neem leaves

Several scientific publications 1 have shown that Neem leaf extracts stop inflammation of the gums, the linings of the throat, and mouth. Those studies also show that Neem leaf extract cause bacteria to clump together and reduces their ability to attach to teeth surfaces. They explain that this action of Neem leaf extracts leads to a reduction in the buildup of dental plaque. The Scientific studies have also demonstrated that by causing bacteria to clump together, Neem leaf extract facilitates the removal of bacteria from the mouth through brushing.

Clove buds

Scientific studies on Clove bud extracts have demonstrated that cloves exert an anesthetic effect on the gums, teeth, and linings of the mouth. This is believed to result in a reduction of tooth sensitivity. The studies also show that Clove bud extracts reduces the ability of bacteria to adhere to tooth surfaces. This, it is believed, reduces the buildup of dental plaque. Further, Clove bud extracts have been shown to prevent inflammation of the gums, the linings of throat, and the mouth.

Key actions of Neemfresh

Neemfresh presents the combined effects of Neem leaf and clove bud extracts in one formulation. Neemfresh reduces inflammation of the gums. This effect leads to a rapid healing of swollen and or bleeding gums and common sores in the mouth.

Neemfresh also suppresses the build-up of plaque on the teeth. In my own, experience I have found that Neemfresh facilitates the removal of plaque from teeth 2. By suppressing plaque formation, Neemfresh Herbal Mouthwash protects against tooth decay.

Key uses of Neemfresh

  • as a regular daily-use mouthwash to maintain healthy gums and strong teeth
  • as treatment for bleeding and swollen gums.
  • as treatment for sore gums after tooth extraction.
  • as a relief for toothache.
  • as treatment for accidental tongue bites.
  • as a herbal alternative to your current mouthwash.

Why Neemfresh a good choice for a mouthwash

Neemfresh is a refreshing natural alternative to conventional mouthwashes which are chemical based.

Neemfresh produces a direct healing effect on the gums and actively fights the build-up of plaque on the teeth. This is significant because conventional mouthwashes act as antiseptics. They kill bacteria in the mouth and hope that the body will gradually heal itself.

Neemfresh is gentle in the mouth, does not discolour the teeth or leave any unpleasant or metallic taste in the mouth.

Who can benefit from Neemfresh?

  • Adults and children 6 years of age and above
  • Persons with gum problems
  • Person suffering from toothache.
  • Elderly persons
  • Office workers
  • Students
  • Persons seeking alternatives to chemical mouthwashes.

Is Neemfresh effective in bad breadth?

Bad breadth often has multiple causes including poor oral hygiene, tooth abscess, tonsil stones or sinus infection. Where bad breadth has underlying causes, effective treatment requires the treatment of the underlying causes. Resorting to mouthwashes in such situations will not resolve the problem. This is true also for Neemfresh.

Thus, if your bad breadth is not resolved by Neemfresh it could be, in all probability, that there is an underlying condition which you need to check with your doctor.
